As your bespoke Māori pakahi we take pride in our people, our culture and your time, we don’t just offer a walk in service, we create wellness experiences by appointment only.
This year has welcomed its own sets of challenges, unchartered waters and unknown territories but I was once told with everything in business its how you land that shapes the story, everything in between are the learnings.
An opportunity was offered in a grand old space in One’hunga, and blessed by true greatness my favourite Te Ahiwaru me Ngāti Whātua o Ōrākei cousins Haki Wilson & Te’peaa Wilson arrived early to bless our newest branch dawn 5th March her name: Te Mauri o Maungakiekie whareoranga.
While our Tipuna and loved ones were all aligning the stars above Okahu Bay evening 10th of June, Maiden Tāmaki Rongoā were finalists at the Ōrākei Local Board business Awards 2026, that night we won the Environmental Excellence Award, Maiden Tāmaki were called up, in that moment everything paused, I could feel the presence at our table, in the room, our marae on the hill and all our loved ones resting in our urupa just across the bay, unprepared to korero it went something like ‘wow mauri ora tatou’ I so wasn’t expecting these awards, to be fair these can not be won by one person or a team, it takes a hapu an a Iwi to taking care of a whenua so this is for our marae up there on the hill, and this award is for my team.
Upon reflection a big year lovingly received, remembering our many loved ones whom have passed, Matariki this year has blessed us with you, another year of goodness, wellness and happiness. Tipuna guided an mokopuna led x
